Inspection Locations

The device inspection can be conducted at any of the following locations, based on the customer’s preference:

1. At the customer’s home
2. At the workplace or company premises
3. Through a visit to any Cairo Shield branch
4. At the nearest authorized warranty distributor

Before enrolling any device into the warranty program, it must undergo a comprehensive technical inspection to ensure its condition and full functionality. The inspection process includes the following:

• Motherboard Inspection
• A complete motherboard test is performed to ensure that no previous repairs – whether minor or major – have been carried out, and to confirm the integrity of all core components.
• Graphics Card Inspection
• The graphics card is tested to verify stability, performance, and the absence of any defects that may affect operation.
• Graphics Card Stress Test (FurMark)
• A stress test using FurMark is conducted to ensure the graphics card can operate under high load and elevated temperatures without failures or instability.
• Processor (CPU) Inspection
• The processor is tested to confirm stability, performance, and proper operation under normal working conditions.
• Display Inspection
• The screen is inspected to ensure it is free from spots, lines, dead pixels, or any display abnormalities.
• Keyboard Inspection
• All keys are tested to ensure full functionality and accurate response.
• Touchpad & Click Inspection
• The touchpad is tested for proper touch response, scrolling, and left/right click functionality.
• Camera & Microphone Inspection
• The camera and microphone are tested to ensure clear image quality and proper audio performance.
• Ports & Connectivity Inspection

All input/output ports and connectivity features are tested for proper operation, including but not limited to:

• USB-A
• USB-C / Thunderbolt
• HDMI
• DisplayPort / Mini DisplayPort
• VGA (if available)
• Audio Jack (Headphones / Microphone)
• SD / microSD Card Reader
• Charging Port
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• LAN / Ethernet (if available)

Passing all inspection stages is a mandatory requirement for device approval under the Cairo Shield warranty program.✅
